Nördik Impakt 15

Nördik Impakt is an electronic and independent culture festival hosted in Caen. For its 15th year, the festival called on Murmure to create its global communications. We created a geometric, enthusiastic and ambitious, unique visual identity in its entirety.

Concept

We wanted to create an artistic direction with electronic connotations which paralleled both the sensibility and elegance of the universe of haute couture.

Visual Identity

In line with the image electronic music can create, our desire was to produce a visual identity that would be acute, based on geometric shapes and minimalist colours.


Alphabet

These primary geometric shapes appear to be the keys which compose graphic patterns or a musical score. The alphabet is its symphony.

Through the form of teasing, the graphic identity is shaped throughout the different mediums of communication and reveals its typographical completion only on the main and last supports of diffusion.

Every year nordik.org displays the colours of its new visual identity. Following the previous two years, we conceived a simple yet suitable website for the Nördik Crew and the festival goers’ needs. It is fully responsive and administrable.

Street marketing

We are constantly looking for some new spaces of expression. The elegance and simplicity of the motif we created enabled us to take over the city through large-scale operations, adorning it with patterns representing the festival’s visual identity.

Merchandising

On top of the production of classic goodies such as tote bags, t-shirts, badges etc, the agency also created original by-product. Because the festival took place at the beginning of winter, we produced blankets and scarves through making use of all possible graphic patterns.
